Terms and Conditions

1.Object

These General Terms regulate electronic purchases made through the blanco.com website (hereinafter the "Site") and are part of your purchase agreement (the "Agreement") when you click on the "Make Payment" button at the end of the Purchasing Process Its provisions are binding from that point onwards.

GLOBAL LEIVA, S.L.U., with registered offices at Calle Carabaña, 25, 28925, Alcorcón (address not valid for product returns) and tax identification number (CIF) B86817277 (hereinafter "blanco.com") is registered in the Companies Register of Madrid, Volume 31.486, Folio 43, Section 8, Hoja M-566768, Inscription 1. For returns, please use the address provided in the Returns paragraph.

blanco.com may modify these General Purchase Terms at any time. The changes shall in no case affect the purchases made prior to the approval of such modifications which are in any case governed by the General Terms in force at any given moment. It is your responsibility to know the current General Purchase Terms in effect at any moment.

These General Terms may be supplemented or amended by special clauses or specific conditions for certain products, especially as regards the exclusion of rights of withdrawal, changes or refunds. Check the information provided with the products carefully to become familiar with these specific conditions.

The electronic document formalising the agreement will be filed by blanco.com and may be accessed via our website after logging in with your username and password or via the means determined in each case. You may request a print copy of the Agreement from the Customer Service channels listed in these General Purchase Terms.

blanco.com sells only to individuals. If you represent a legal person and wish to make a purchase, we recommend that you go to one of our BLANCO shops.

2. User Registration

To facilitate electronic shopping and not have to ask customers for the same data every time they make a new purchase, users must register on the website. This user registration may take place at any time via the "Login" section or during the actual checkout process. At the end of the registration process you will receive an e-mail confirmation telling you that the process has been completed successfully.

You need to register as a user for each Region in which you wish to make purchases.

You may access the registered user section with your user name and password or the means which in each case blanco.com may enable for user sign-on. In connection with user registration, blanco.com may use cookies or other similar means that make it possible to save browsing preferences and recognize you when you connect from the same computer.

You can access your purchase history, consult and edit your registration details, request a copy of the Returns Form and carry out other processes and procedures involving your purchases using the User Record.

Signing up to blanco.com is free and is not subject to any condition or requirement. You may unsubscribe at any time as a user by sending an email to contact@blanco.com. Unsubscribing as a user involves the cancellation of personal data and the inability to make future online purchases until user re-registration occurs.

3. Service coverage and special instructions for purchases shipped to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and Portugal

Sales on blanco.com are limited to the Spanish territory, including the Peninsula, the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla and the Portuguese mainland (not including the territories of Madeira and the Azores). For orders with shipping addresses in the territory of Melilla, during the purchase process buyers must provide their national identity number (DNI). This type of order may not be completed with a Foreign Identification number (NIE) or Passport. For orders with Portuguese shipping addresses, buyers must provide their Portuguese national identity numbers.

4. Quality of online shopping services

blanco.com guarantees that products sold through their website are of the same quality and characteristics than those sold in brick-and-mortar BLANCO shops.

blanco.com has made every effort to ensure that the depiction of the products on the Site is as faithful as possible to reality. Nevertheless, some features such as colour or texture may not be properly appreciated from the photos or may appear differently depending on the users'screen settings.

Products published on blanco.com are shown with the following information:

- Item name
- Reference
- Price (including taxes)
- Colour and size information
- The following general information is also displayed: Size and Care Guide

5. Term of the offer:

Without prejudice to specific legislation, offers or sales announced electronically shall be valid for the period stipulated by blanco.com or, failing that, throughout the period they are accessible to users.

6. Product Availability:

If at the time the order is issued we realise there is no stock of an item on the order, we would contact you to communicate that this item cannot be shipped and would proceed to refund the amount. This shall be without prejudice to any legal rights you may be entitled to as a consumer.

7. Order Process:

The Order Process comprises the following steps

Product selection: Browse through our website and click on "Add to My Cart" whenever you want to add a product. The shopping cart contains the selected product name, part number, colour, size, quantity and price in euros.

Start of the checkout process: To start the checkout process click "Checkout". If you have not signed up as a user or you're not logged in, you will first be requested to do so.

Order data verification: Prior to selecting the means of payment you can check your purchase information and correct any data entry error. Once you have verified your details, confirm your order.

Payment method selection: Select the payment method you prefer and press the "Make Payment" button. At that point, the system will redirect you to the chosen payment system where you will provide all data required for the payment method. This will be the only time when you will be asked for this information.

Once you input all the necessary data and click "Buy" the contract will come into effect for all intents and purposes.

Purchase Confirmation: Once we receive your acceptance, blanco.com will issue an on-screen confirmation which you may keep for your records, with the following information:

- Order number.
- Order date.
- Summary of the items purchased.

Within 24 hours blanco.com will issue a purchase confirmation via e-mail.

Throughout the order process you can consult the General Purchase Terms as well as check the final price of the selected products.

Once the purchase is confirmed, the customer may not modify or cancel the order except in cases provided by law or these General Terms.

8. Purchase limits and ban on resale or distribution

This sales channel is restricted to consumers or end users of the products. Any resale or distribution of the products purchased is therefore prohibited. To this end, blanco.com will not accept purchases exceeding the following limits:

- Maximum amount per purchase: 1,500 Euros; or
- Maximum number of units: 40
- Maximum number of identical items (same color and size): 5

If you wish to make a purchase that exceeds the euro amount or quantity limits, please contact your nearest BLANCO shop.

9. Price

All prices on the Site are shown in euros and include VAT, except those bound for the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, which will include taxes and tariffs under the current legislation applicable for each destination. Orders shipping to Portugal will include VAT for this country.

Shipping charges will appear listed at the end of the buying process, once you have included the shipping address: These shipping charges depend on the delivery location (Peninsula and Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and Portugal) and will be charged to the customer in full. The total shipping charges will appear in the payment screen of the ordering process. Orders for store delivery are free of delivery costs.

Occasionally, BLANCO may have promotional offers in which delivery is offered at no additional cost to the customer for using certain payment methods or for other reasons. In these cases, this benefit will be subject to compliance with the terms of the promotional offer in question.

For orders shipping to the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and Portugal, the total shipping costs specified in the preceding paragraph already include customs clearance and any taxes levied on the import of products in these territories. The client will therefore not have to make any additional payments when the order is delivered.

Prior to the "Pay Now" phase you will see the final total price of your order, with a breakdown of surcharges or discounts applied, if any, as well as transport costs or other additional services.

Despite the measures taken by blanco.com to avoid errors, the price of a product applied during payment may not coincide with the advertised price, or the price advertised on the Site may be posted incorrectly. If such errors are detected after the formalisation of the Agreement, this Agreement shall be void under applicable law, without prejudice to users' consumer rights. blanco.com will notify you of this situation as soon as it becomes aware of it and, if you have been charged any amount for the purchase, shall proceed to immediately refund it.

10. Payment

You may proceed to pay the total of items purchased by any of the following means:

- The following debit and credit cards issued by european financial entities
- Visa.
- Visa Electron
- MasterCard
- American Express
- BlancoCard, BlancoCash y BlancoCash Teen (valid only on Spanish territory)
- PayPal.

Your order payment is processed in real time via the Virtual POS once the information provided is confirmed to be correct.

blanco.com guarantees that it will treat the data for the payment method used safely and confidentially. The credit card data is transmitted using SSL encryption. This solution guarantees the confidentiality of communication through encryption keys.In order to detect and prevent fraudulent operations and unnecessary losses and nuisance to our customers, BLANCO has adopted fraud prevention measures and checks. These checks consist of analysing the characteristics of orders and comparing them with previous fraudulent operations. Sometimes, in order to ensure that an operation is not fraudulent, BLANCO may ask you to fill in certain information or provide additional details. Refusal to supply this information will prevent BLANCO from making the necessary checks on the authenticity of the order. In these cases, BLANCO will have the right to cancel the order as fraudulent. Despite our attempts to improve our fraud detection systems, we cannot entirely guarantee that a genuine operation will not be classified as fraudulent. If you are affected and have an operation wrongly refused, let us know using the contact methods established in these General Conditions so we can deal with your order as soon as possible.

Note also that suppliers or issuers of payment means used may have other anti-fraud measures in place not controlled by blanco.com which may lead to the rejection of certain types of operations. blanco.com does not control and assumes no liability for any damages that may be caused by the application of policies approved by the various providers or issuers of payment means.

The use of a payment method in the name of someone other than the purchaser, except when express consent is granted by the third party, is not allowed. You are responsible for presenting proof of that approval and assuming all damages that may be borne by blanco.com if authorization was not given.

11. Invoice

blanco.com will send you a printed receipt along with your order. If desired, you may request an invoice by contacting our Customer Service within 30 days after purchase. We only issue invoices to individuals; if you wish to make a purchase as a legal person, please visit one of our BLANCO shops.

Orders shipping to Melilla and Portugal will always be sent with an invoice, which is why shoppers must enter their identity card number or other national equivalent in the appropriate field during the checkout process. BLANCO may require you to provide your identity card or equivalent national document due to regulations or for operational or security reasons

12. Delivery

During the checkout process, you can choose whether to receive the order at home or pick it up at the shop. The store delivery option may be unavailable during certain times of the year. Should this be the case, you will be informed of it when you start the checkout process.

For store delivery you will not be charged shipping costs. Before selecting this option ensure that the shop nearest your home provides this service.

Delivery is considered to have taken place when the client receives at the shipping address or picks up, be it personally or through a third party, the purchased items. Both for home and store delivery, the recipient will need to sign the delivery note or document as proof of receipt of the order. Signing the delivery note does not imply conformity and only serves to prove that the delivery took place. It therefore does not affect clients' contractual rights nor imply conformity with a defective product. Without prejudice to your contractual and legal rights, for the purposes of handling any incident involving the shipment of goods, please notify us no later than 24 hours after any shipment-related incident such as missing or lost items, damaged product, open goods, etc. Note that the signing of the delivery note is required for product delivery, so make sure that others can sign on your behalf. blanco.com accepts no liability for the receipt of goods by another person in your name without permission when such a delivery is made correctly at the specified shipping address.

For store delivery, you may send a third party to collect the order for you. To this end, the party authorized to pick up your order on your behalf should be identified by name, surname and national identity number,, present the order number that BLANCO will have provided and correctly identify the person who made the purchase.

Home delivery will be made Monday through Friday from 9 am to 7 pm. We do not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. Store delivery may be carried out at any time during the shop's opening hours.

Delivery, to the home or in-shop, entails the transfer of risk and, therefore, any spoilage, loss or theft that may occur from that moment on is beyond blanco.com's liability.

Should the delivery not be possible, blanco.com will cancel the Agreement due to the impossibility of execution and without prejudice to any claim that blanco.com might initiate in the event of intentional commission or fault on the part of the customer. For store delivery, the Agreement is cancelled 15 calendar days after the product is received by the selected shop.

blanco.com does not accept P.O. addresses as valid shipping addresses. In the event that the Agreement includes a post office address, the Agreement will be invalid and blanco.com will be released of liability for compliance. blanco.com will however notify the customer of the circumstances and reimburse all charges made.

Approximate delivery times are as follows:

Home delivery:

  • Spain Peninsula Territories, Portugal and the Balearic Islands: 3-5 working days

The stated shipping times may take longer during our sales or promotions, with an approximate delivery time of 6 to 10 business days.

Store delivery:

  • Spain Peninsula Territories, Portugal: 2-7 working days
  • Canary Islands, Ceuta and the Balearic Islands: 6-14 working days

Nevertheless, whenever compliance with such terms depends also on third parties, blanco.com cannot guarantee a delivery period of less than 15 days. For the purposes specified in the Revised General Act for Defence of Consumers and Users approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, this should be understood as the delivery date committed to by blanco.com. For store delivery, you will receive an electronic notification by e-mail or SMS informing you that the order is available for collection.

You may check the delivery status of your order by entering your username and password in the "Login" area and clicking on "My Orders"

13. Returns

Blanco.com offers you the possibility of returning your purchases within thirty (30) days from the date of delivery, provided that the acquired products have not been used and are in perfect condition.

For returns that include various promotional items (4x3, 2x1, 50% discount on the second item, etc.) all items purchased under the promotion will have to be returned. For returns of items on sale whose discount applies to a single item or promotions of discounts on the total purchase, the refund amount will be what the customer paid for the item, which appears in the purchase receipt, and not the regular price of the item. If you have used discount vouchers, keep in mind that you will not be reimbursed for the discount coupon amount.

All sums that may already have been received by BLANCO and which have to be returned to customers in accordance with the provisions of this clause will be paid, as far as possible, using the same payment method used during the purchase. If the method used does not allow reimbursement, BLANCO will return the corresponding sums in cash, by cheque or by transfer. Please note that your bank may take up to seven days to process the reimbursement.

The terms for returns in this clause shall be without prejudice to the rights that the consumer may have in accordance with current legislation. Consequently, for purchases made from Spain, when the return is made within the first 7 days from the time of delivery, the provisions of this clause will be subject to the provisions of Articles 68 and following of the Revised General Act for Defence of Consumers and Users approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November. For purchases made from Portugal, the provisions of Articles 6 and 7 of Decree Law No. 143/2001 will prevail for any refund to be made within 14 days from the time of delivery.

In-shop Returns: You may return items purchased at blanco.com to any BLANCO shop which has the relevant department -Woman, Man, Accessories, Beauty- and within the same shipping zone in which you received the order. Orders sent to Melilla should be returned by post only. Items purchased from June 12, 2013 in blanco.com can only be returned by mail or in shops that are not in clearance sale. The different delivery zones are:

  • 1. Peninsula and Balearic Islands

  • 3. Ceuta and Melilla
  • 4. Portugal

You must submit the Return Form (found on the back of the purchase receipt). If you need a duplicate of this document, please contact our Customer Service department. Lingerie, jewellery and cosmetic items will be wrapped with a transparent seal that allows you to check the products without breaking the seal. For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of these products when not in their original sealed packaging.

Blanco.com reserves the right to refuse returns after the stipulated deadline, or of items that are not in the same condition in which they were sent to the customer.

Orders sent to Melilla should be returned by post only.

Returns by post:

To make returns by post, follow the following steps:

1-Contact our Customer Service department to obtain a return code.
2-Complete the Return Form (found on the back of the purchase receipt) you received with your order, indicating your order number and the part numbers of the items you wish to return. If you do not have this document, you can print a duplicate at "My Account / My Orders". For the purposes specified in the Revised General Act for Defence of Consumers and Users approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November, this document will be considered a valid withdrawal document.
3-Place items to be returned along with the Return Form (found on the back of the purchase receipt) in a box or envelope and clearly indicate the return shipping address, the order and return number on the outer part of the envelope or box and return defect code.

Lingerie, jewellery and cosmetic items will be wrapped with a transparent seal that allows you to check the products without breaking the seal. For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of these products when not in their original sealed packaging.

blanco.com reserves the right to refuse returns sent outside the deadline, or items that are not in the same conditions as they were sent to the client.

We recommend that you send your package by certified mail or with return receipt. blanco.com shall not assume liability for returns that are not delivered to our warehouse. The shipping costs for returns will be borne by the customer. blanco.com not accept returns sent COD.

Occasionally, BLANCO may offer promotions to customers using certain payment methods, to acquire certain type of product or in any other circumstances, in that the costs of returning such items are made by BLANCO. In these cases, this benefit will be subject to compliance with the terms of the promotional offer in question and also process the refund in accordance with the specific rules provided by BLANCO.

Returned items will be carefully inspected. If the product is in perfect condition and with its inside labels, the purchase amount will be refunded. For returns by post sent from the Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla. We recommend using the postal service's certified mail or return receipt options.

Returns of faulty goods:

No refunds can be made at BlancoSTOCK shops or shops that are in clearance sale.

3-Place the faulty item along with the Returns Form in a box or envelope and clearly indicate the return shipping address, the order and return number on the outer part of the envelope and return defect code.

4-We will provide you with our courier company information and the steps to follow.

The address for returning defective products is the same as for non-defective products.

Upon receipt of the article, blanco.com will carefully examine the returned product. In the event that the item is defective, we will refund the amount, including shipping costs, as long as the order did not include other items. The refund will be issued as soon as possible and at the latest within 30 days of receipt of the item at blanco.com. The provisions of this clause for the return of defective products shall be without prejudice to the consumer's inalienable rights to repair or replace the product, lower the price or terminate the contract in accordance with the provisions of Chapter II, Title V , Book II of the Revised General Act for Defence of Consumers and Users approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November or in other laws of mandatory application.

14. Force majeure or unforeseeable circumstance

blanco.com assumes no liability for total non-compliance, defective compliance or delay in compliance with any of its obligations due to any case of force majeure or unforeseeable circumstance. Term obligations that may exist will be suspended in these cases for as long as the force majeure or unforeseeable circumstance lasts and will take effect again once the force majeure or unforeseeable circumstance ends.

In accordance with the provisions of Article 27.3 of Law 11/1998 of 9 July, regarding consumer protection in the Community of Madrid, we inform you that there are complaint forms available at GLOBAL LEIVA headquarters. In addition, all our shops have complaint forms issued by the owner of the establishment.

GLOBAL LEIVA will resolve claims it receives as soon as possible and in any event within a month. In the event that a claim is not resolved satisfactorily, you may access the out-of-court dispute resolution system described in the previous sectionGLOBAL LEIVA will resolve claims it receives as soon as possible and in any event within a month. In the event that a claim is not resolved satisfactorily, you may access the out-of-court dispute resolution system described in the previous section.

16. Agreement integrity

These General Purchase Terms and any document expressly referred to herein (such as individual clauses or specific conditions specified for certain products and duly accepted by you at the time of accepting the purchase of the same), constitute the totality of the Agreement and supersede any other agreements or covenants which the parties may have made either verbally or in writing prior to this Agreement.

17. Applicable Law:

This Agreement is subject to Spanish law, without prejudice to cases in which the laws of other countries might be enforceable.

18. Right of withdrawal:

Under the terms of distance selling, the customer has 14 days from the date of receipt of his/her order to exercise his/her right to cancel the purchase made at blanco.com. To do this, follow the steps indicated in the Returns section. The cost of return postage will always be borne by the consumer.

This right does not apply to lingerie, swimwear, jewelry and cosmetic products whose seal has been removed or which are not in their original sealed packaging.
