With her California ranch renovation, Jennifer Maxcy of “The Ranch Uncommon” had bigger plans for her space than a typical faucet and sink. Determined to add contrast and personality, she took her kitchen to the next level by finishing the space with BLANCO. Drawn to the style, but sold on the functionality, Jennifer details below how she made her final decision.
We knew our recent remodel project was going to be different. It’s not your everyday house and it needed that something extra special to reflect that uniqueness. When it came time to choose the sink and faucet, BLANCO was going to add that gorgeous statement piece.
First, let’s start with that work of art called a faucet, the LINUS. The classic contemporary design offers a 140 degree turn and a pullout single function spray makes filling pots and clean up a breeze. We absolutely LOVE the look of this faucet! It has the perfect aesthetic to complete this industrial contemporary kitchen, and it even offers a bit of a Scandinavian feel when paired with wood accents.
It was not hard to stay loyal to the BLANCO brand, since they combine form with function and blow competitors out of the park with options.

Now to that beautiful eye-catching sink, the BLANCO PRECIS in the luxurious SILGRANIT color, Anthracite. This basin in one of many options in the collection, we chose the 30″ to fit our 36″ sink base cabinet. This sink is indestructible and a beautiful complement to the LINUS faucet. The material you ask? BLANCO has developed a one-of-a-kind material called SILGRANIT, a granite composite that is resistant to chips, heat, scratches, you name it. The beautiful matte, slightly sparkly finish is so unique and so beautiful.
The large single bowl is perfect for hiding dirty dishes out of sight as well as filling/cleaning up large pots and pans. Filling large vases of water or laundry projects are also done with ease using this stellar sink and faucet combo.
The sink accessories, such as the sink grids, come in handy when drying glassware and making your kitchen prep a lot more efficient.
