BLANCO has received four prestigious red dot design awards, most notably for BLANCO STEELART’s FLOW™ sink, which is currently available in the United States.
The red dot award signifies excellence and recognizes outstanding quality, craftsmanship, superior design and functionality in a world-renowned design competition. “To be recognized as a red dot award winner is a true honor,” says Tim Maicher, Director of Marketing for Blanco. “We are immensely pleased to have this distinction bestowed upon us and feel it exemplifies our ongoing commitment to provide the best possible products the industry has to offer.”
The FLOW sink is an ultimate centerpiece. It is more than just a sink; it’s an architectural element. Featuring the revolutionary new MicroEdge™ technology, FLOW creates the illusion of a flushmounted installation – integrating fully with the counter surface. Seamless and functional stainless side drainers flow gently into the elegant, purist bowl – offering a design that’s both focal point and functional workspace.
“The ultimate artisan creation, the FLOW sink lets designers make a fresh statement of individuality for their distinctive clientele,” adds Maicher.
Other BLANCO products, available only in Europe, to receive recognition include the STEELART system accessories, specifically the lay-on stainless steel drainer and the wooden cutting board available in high-quality walnut and stainless steel. Additionally, the Blancostatura CrystalLine, which is an outstanding innovative solution in a noble mix of glass and stainless steel. Its main innovation is the exclusive Crystal glass cover, which can completely cover the sink and double as a hygienic cutting board.
Also awarded is BLANCO’s first wall-mounted tap called Elos-W. This unique product is distinguished by its clear uncompromising design and it has a long swivel spout for barrier-free working that can simply be swiveled to the side when not in use.
