BLANCO STEELART™ sinks are featured in three stunning penthouse suites situated at the Residences at Mandarin Oriental, with spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip. The exclusive residences were host to private events for Modenus #BlogTourVegas, press and the design community during Design and Construction Week in Las Vegas.
According to kitchen designer Anne Kramer, of Poggenpohl, the intent was to showcase unique design features in each of the three kitchens. “Our vision is to personalize each kitchen to the homeowner’s needs for entertaining, for cooking, for storage and for lifestyle. Unlike traditional homes, these residences are at the height of the Las Vegas strip. A rarified atmosphere where anything is possible. The kitchen design had to reflect a setting that was warm and comfortable, yet impressive. Of course both the cabinetry, surfaces, fixtures and appliances had to achieve the highest performance whether the owner makes a quick meal, orders in or has a private chef to cook.”
The kitchens included the following BLANCO fixtures:
- Penthouse 4505: BLANCO PRECISION™ STEELART™ sink & CULINA™ professional style faucet
- Penthouse 4501: BLANCO PRECISION™ STEELART™ sink & ALTA™ pull-out faucets, wall-mounted pot filler and RONDO™ Bar sink
- Penthouse 4307: BLANCO PRECISION™ STEELART™ sink & CULINA™ professional style faucet

The theme of the evening, the Art of Performance, highlights how kitchen design can be both functional and beautiful. The theme further emphasizes the detail, quality and engineering each of the sponsors’ products brought to these amazing kitchens… just as a BLANCO STEELART™ sink starts out as a single sheet of stainless and is sculpted by hand into a seamless, stunning, yet hard working design.
In true Las Vegas style, Cirque du Soleil performers along with the sculpture by Richard MacDonald helped to make the evening a spectacular success. Thank you to Daniel Messier and Chasen West for contributing their photos to this video and to KNB-Corp for developing the project with the sponsors and the Mandarin Oriental of Las Vegas.
