Accessibility at BLANCO

BLANCO aims to make this website usable for as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and the European standard EN 301 549 as our technical reference.

What you can do on this website

On this website, you can learn about BLANCO products, open product pages and documents, and find dealers. Where a webshop is available, you can also add products to the cart, use a customer account and place an order.

Conformance status

Based on the technical assessment currently available, this website is partially conformant with WCAG Level AA. Some areas already meet the requirements, while others are still being improved. Full conformance has not been confirmed at this time.

This assessment is based on an independent sample audit of 19 representative pages in May 2026 and Nuevo’s latest technical status provided on 3 September 2026. It was not a complete audit of every BLANCO page and market website.

What we already do

• Alternative text for product images is provided through the product information management system. The product name is used as a fallback when an image does not have its own text.
• Dynamically generated product specification sheets are created with structure and are reviewed for PDF/UA aspects.
• “Show more” and “Show less” on product pages are implemented as buttons intended to be operable via keyboard. The complete text is present in the HTML.

Known limitations

• Some editorial images and product images still lack a clear description.
• Headings, lists, reading order, keyboard operation, the skip link, contrast and keyboard focus are still being improved or tested and have not yet been fully verified on the production website.
• Some required-field instructions, error messages and status messages, as well as certain checkout payment fields, are still under review.
• Some video text alternatives are not yet live.
• Many other PDF documents, including manuals, brochures and files from the content management system (CMS) or content delivery network (CDN), have not yet been fully inventoried and remediated.
• Embedded third-party services may still contain accessibility barriers.
