In the newly created role of COO, Andreas Ostermann von Roth will be responsible for all of the Blanco Group's supply chain activities and in charge of global procurement, worldwide production and logistics. He will also head up the Material Research & Development department. The Sustainability division will also fall within the remit of the incoming COO. “We are delighted that we have been able to bring such a skilled leader as Andreas Ostermann von Roth on board,” says Dr Johannes Haupt, CEO of the Blanc & Fischer Family Holding and Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Blanco.

One of the main areas of focus for the 55-year-old newcomer will be the further development of the global supply chain management operations, which are becoming increasingly more dynamic and complex due to internationalisation and digitalisation. “As a system supplier for the ‘kitchen water hub’, reliable provision of products to our customers is our top priority. Andreas Ostermann von Roth makes the ideal addition to our team due to his in-depth expertise in the areas of purchasing, production and logistics,” says CEO Frank Gfrörer.

Following stints at Behr Thermot-tronik, Varta Consumer Batteries and Kuka Robotics, where he accumulated wide-ranging expertise in managing positions, his most recent post was COO at pneumatics specialist Aventics.
