Oberderdingen, 9 March 2026 – With two awards at the iF Design Award 2026, BLANCO has once again been recognised for its outstanding design and brand management. It highlights the fundamental transformation the company has undergone in recent years and brings together the design and systemic excellence with which BLANCO has reimagined and shaped the kitchen water place as a consistent, seamless modular concept.
The fact that BLANCO was able to win two awards in one of the most internationally renowned competitions – with over 10,000 entries from 68 countries and a jury of 129 independent design experts – underlines the design relevance of this award.
iF Design Award 2026 Winner for LUNEOO // OOVALON in the "Kitchen" category
LUNEOO and OOVALON form an extraordinary BLANCO UNIT that completely redefines the design of the water place. With its clearly contoured, sculptural and finely proportioned silhouette, the LUNEOO tap makes a striking statement in the kitchen water place. Despite its iconic presence, it blends harmoniously into open-plan living and kitchen spaces, combining design elegance with high functional precision. All models feature a smart, freely positionable control knob and an elegant magnetic holder for the spray arm. In selected markets, LUNEOO is also available as a 6-in-1 water system.
With its softly flowing, clearly defined oval shape, the OOVALON sink makes an extraordinary design statement in the water place. The design combines elegant tranquillity with a special spatial presence and, like the tap, comes into its own in open-plan kitchen concepts. Made from patented Velgranit, the bowl also impresses with its fine feel, high-quality materiality and aesthetics that effortlessly combine design standards and everyday practicality.
"With the BLANCO UNIT made of LUNEOO and OOVALON, we are bringing a new design quality to the water place. The award confirms our claim to combine form, function and materiality so precisely that a modern, iconic overall picture is created," says Marcel Moritz, Global Head of Design & Innovation at BLANCO.
iF Design Award 2026 winner for the new BLANCO brand identity in the "Corporate Design" category
The new BLANCO brand identity focuses consistently on the kitchen water place and makes it visible as a central element of modern kitchen architecture. Its clarity stems from a reduced, striking colour scheme, distinctive typography and purist imagery that puts the BLANCO UNIT in the spotlight and authentically conveys the company's design philosophy. The systematically structured appearance creates strong recognition across all channels and convincingly supports global brand management.
"Our brand identity conveys clarity, attitude and design consistency. It makes visible what BLANCO stands for – a high-quality, precisely designed kitchen water place – and the award shows that we are convincing internationally with this," emphasises Daniela Römgens, Vice President, Global Brand Marketing, at BLANCO.
