TORONTO – The revolutionary BLANCO IKON farmhouse sink collection from Blanco expands with two new models. Homeowners love the unique style of the modern farmhouse sink design and IKON offers a durable, beautiful, and unique alternative to the commonly used ceramic, stainless steel, or copper sink materials.
BLANCO IKON is the world’s first apron front sink made of SILGRANIT, BLANCO’s patented granite composite material. SILGRANIT is extremely durable and exceptionally easy to clean. It is scratch and stain resistant and will maintain its beauty for many years. With its slightly angled apron design, the IKON will add a unique, architectural element to your kitchen. Blanco is pleased to announce that the IKON collection will now be offered in two new models:
- IKON 27: designed for small space farmhouse enthusiasts with a compact 27” width.
- IKON 33 1¾ Low Divide: provides the functionality of a double bowl but with a lower sink partition for optimal use of its generous 33” width. Maneuvering large pots, long-handled pans or baking sheets are perfect with this sink model.
Both IKON 27 and IKON 33 1¾ Low Divide will be offered in all eight SILGRANIT colours: Anthracite, Café, Cinder, Metallic Gray, Truffle, Concrete Gray (new for 2019), Biscuit and White. Product availability is expected in early Spring 2019. IKON sinks can be matched with a variety of BLANCO kitchen faucets in popular Stainless Finish and Chrome assortments, as well as a large selection of SILGRANIT colour-match and dual finishes, exclusive to BLANCO.
“The BLANCO IKON collection continues to reflect our commitment to innovation,” says Blanco’s Director of Marketing, Edyta Drutis. ”Made in Canada, this product is a pinnacle of our efforts to offer the trendy farmhouse style in our beautiful and durable SILGRANIT material.
